Itinerary (4 days Golestan Trekking tour)
Day 1: Minudasht
Take a flight to Gorgan. Move toward Khalid Nabi Cemetery, located in the Gokcheh Dagh hills of Turkmen Sahra, and have free time to explore this area. Then, go to Minudasht and check in at the hotel, and rest.
The approximate trekking time is 5hrs.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel.
Day 2: Golestan National Park
Drive towards the Golestan National Park to visit another national park which is called Ghorogh Deer Park. On this journey, we serve breakfast on the route. So, we have an excursion to the wildlife museum of Maral, then stay at a local house and have lunch there. Continue our journey towards Golestan national park to visit Golestan and Aghsou waterfalls and enjoy having a cup of tea in nature. Then we visit the habitat of Goat and have dinner there.
The approximate trekking time is 5hrs.
Overnight: Set up a camp in the Golestan National Park.
Day 3: Golestan National Park
Have breakfast in the local house, then drive to the plain and have a walking tour for around two hours on the ramp. After having lunch, we drive to the Mirzabaylou region to visit its wildlife (it has a walking tour of around two hours on the ramp), then have dinner.
The approximate trekking time is 4hrs.
Overnight: Stay at a local house.
Day 4: Golestan/Tehran
Have breakfast at 6:00 AM. Therefore, we move towards Tangeh Gol Jungle, then walk to Adamchagheran waterfall. After walking for around three hours, we have lunch in this area. Then move towards Gorgan and if we have extra time, we will visit Gonbad-e Qabus, and take a flight back to Tehran.
The approximate trekking time is 3hrs.
