Farafar Gate

The glorious remnants of a vault show off in the Saryazd village. This arch has been the gate of Yazd in the ancient days.

The Saryazd is one of the villages of Yazd province and Mehriz city, which is a few thousand years old. The Farafar Gate was the entrance gate of the Yazd province far away at times. In ancient times, Saryazd village was called Farafar. Parts of the gate still remain and are now being visited by tourists. Unfortunately, there is no further information on this gate.
