Mashhad Airport is an international airport which is located in Mashhad city, Razavi Khorasan Province; it also is known as Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport
The Mashhad Airport (MHD), is one of the most important international airport in Iran that located in Mashhad city, Razavi Khorasan, Iran. It was established in 1951 and it is also known as Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport. This airport transports about nine million passengers annually and that is why this airport is one of the crowded airports in the country. Both domestic and international flights have been transferred in the Mashhad Airport with 3 active terminals. Moreover, it has a jet way (a bridge between gate and airplane) and also, has the first vertical parking with a capacity of more than one-thousand cars in Iran.

To get the Mashhad Airport, there are many ways to access via private car, taxi, bus, and subway. The airport is accessible from 15th Khordad Square, on the Southeast side of Mashhad city, at the end of the Islamic Republic Boulevard. If you want to use bus, you can get there by line 7. It takes about 20 minutes from the Imam Reza shrine.
