You should know that the Jameh Mosque is called a mosque that is larger than a regular mosque where people gather and pray great prayers.
It is interesting to know that the Atigh Mosque is located to the east of the Shah Cheragh Mosque, and you can enter the Atigh Mosque from the east entrance of the Shah Cheragh Mosque. The Atigh Mosque has four entrances that each in one direction.

The north entrance of the mosque is called the Door of the Twelve Imams because its porch has attractive tiles with Muqarnas and on either side of which there are inscriptions and wrote the names of the Twelve Imam's Shia Islam on them. At the top of this portal, there is another inscription dating back to the Safavid era. The west side is where the entrance door of the Shah Cheragh mosque is located. On the east side of the mosque, there is a wide and high vault, and there are eight small vaults inside it. You can see a ruined Shabestan that is of no use today.

It is interesting to know that archaeological excavations indicate that the mosque was built on the remains of an old (probably fire-worship) temple, and even the earlier building plan was influential in the design of the mosque. The temple was built before Islam, but due to limitations in exploration, researchers cannot know that which time this temple built.

There is a building in the middle of the mosque's yard, which used for the preservation and writing of the holy books of the Quran. this building was built during the time of the great poet "Hafez", and Hafez came to it every night and read the Quran. The name of this building is Dar al-Mos-hef.
