Eynali Mountain

Eynali is a mountain range that includes a tomb on the top of the mountain in the north of Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province.  

The Eynali Mountain range is located in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province, northwest of Iran. Not only is Eynali considered a recreation area for people on the weekend, but it is also a proper area for mountaineering buffs. Eynali mountain range has a couple of peaks, including Eynali (1800 m), Halileh (1850 m), Pakeh-chin (1945 m), Bahlul (1985 m), and the highest one, Dand (2378 m). This mountain range has red soil and includes a tomb that is believed to be the grave of two boys of Ali ibn Abi Talib, the first Imam of Shia Muslims. Due to this belief, the mountain's name is related to them. Moreover, some people believe that this tomb was a Zoroastrian temple in the past. It is seen everywhere in Tabriz.

  • Tomb of Eynali

    The graves of Oun Ibn Ali and Zeyd ibn Ali are placed at the top of the mountain. So, People are so interested in the Eynali that they believe its peak (1800 m) is the closest place to the sky to pray.
     

  • Memorial Tower of an Anonymous martyr

    There is a tower next to the tomb of Oun ibn Ali that is to commemoration of an anonymous martyr. This tower was constructed in the Azari style, which is a part of the Islamic architectural style; also, the poetry of Mohammad-Hossein Shahriar, an Iranian poet, is written on it.

• Tabriz Tele cabin

  One of the most popular parts of this area is the Tabriz tele cabin, which contains six telecommunications towers. At the end, these towers increase to 24 towers; each cabin has a capacity of three people. You will enjoy it from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

• ZipLine Eynali

  Eynali is an exciting part of your journey with a length of 500 meters. The height difference between the two starting and ending points reaches 75 meters.
   

• Daq Goli

  Daq Goli is an artificial lake situated on the west side of Eynali Mountain. An eye-catching view will amaze you to enjoy the moments.

• Statue of Azim Gheychisaz
• Azim Gheychisaz is an Iranian athlete who climbed the Himalayas and all fourteen peaks of 8000 meters in the world. In commemoration of him, you will see a statue of a man with a scissor in his hand on the foothills of Eynali Mountain.

• What is the best time to go?

Get ready to travel to a dry and cold city in Iran. Tabriz has a cold climate with a mild and cool summer. The best time to visit Eynali is from late April until late September.
