 
                     
                     
            Sialk Hills is the first urban civilization in the central part of Iran, where including the oldest handmade clay, Painted pottery, and Sialk Ziggurat.
About 80 years ago, an urban civilization appeared by flooding agricultural farms in Kashan. Sialk Hills is a large ancient archeological site which is located in the suburb of Kashan, Isfahan province. Some written documents were found at this site that belongs to the Achaemenid Empire.
Sialk Hills is actually a Ziggurat (a Religious place of worship which was created by the Elamite civilization) with 3 floors, which is made of clay and pottery. The Ziggurat was constructed pyramid-shaped for the major cities of Mesopotamia.
Every generation buried their ancestors in a basement without bricks, the corpses buried in a squatting position with their ornamental objects.

 
Sialk hills are located near the road that connects Kashan to Fin, near Dizicheh village, about four kilometers south of Kashan. You will reach there via private car or a taxi.
