Niavaran is a complex of several palaces that was inaugurated in 1968 as the primary residence of the last Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the Imperial family until the Iranian Revolution with its 9000 square meters area.

Ahmad Shahi Pavilion: It was constructed as a private resting retreat for the last member of the Qajar Dynasty Ahmad Shah.
Art Collections of Jahan Nama Museum: You can see Some of the masterpieces in the permanent exhibition are works by contemporary Iranian artists including Sohrab Sepehri, Naser Owesi, Faramarz Pilaram, Parviz Kalantari, Jazeh Tabatabai, and non-Iranian-artists: George Brack, Paul Gogen, Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Camille Pissarro, Pierre August Renoir, Diego Giacometti, Fernand Leger, and Marc Chagall.
 
 
 
Sa'dabad Complex:
 
 
Sa'dabad is a complex of 18 palaces belonging to the Royal families of the Qajar and Pahlavi Dynasties, which are located within a unique and beautiful garden and cover an area of 110 hectares.

The Green Palace: It was formerly known as Shahvand Palace is considered the most beautiful palace in Iran.
The White Palace: It was built by Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi as the Royal Summer Palace. Queen Farah Diba personally was involved in the decoration of the units in the palace.
Fine Arts Museum: You are visiting the most exquisite collection of Persian paintings. In addition to the paintings by Iranian artists from the Safavid era (16-17th C) to the Qajarian era (19th C), there are masterpieces of Sohrab Sepehri, Hossein Mahjobi, Faramarz Pil Aram, Hossein Zende Roodi, and miniature paintings by Master Hossein Behzad.
