Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tehran

Take a flight to Tehran and stay in Tehran’s hotels.

Day 2: Tehran to Kashan

Drive towards Salt Lake on the way to Qom, and visit Halophyte vegetation types. Included a long walk of around 4 hours. Afterward, drive to Kashan and stay at a hotel there.

Day 3: Kashan to Maranjab Desert

Drive towards the Maranjab Desert. See a variety of plants and animals, visit Aran-O-Bidgol, the salt lake, Wanderer Island, a caravanserai on the Silk Road, dunes with a height of 70 meters, and stare at the milky sky. Come back to Kashan and stay at Kashan’s hotels.

Day 4: Kashan to Isfahan

Drive from Kashan to Isfahan and botanizing in the Natanz mountains. Afternoon sightseeing in Isfahan. Accommodate in Isfahan’s hotels.

Day 5: Isfahan to Chelgerd

Drive from Isfahan to Chelgerd and botanizing on the mountains of Shahrekord. After that, come back to the Chelgerd and stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Chelgerd nature tour

Botanizing in the central Zagros (e.g. Dionysia, Fritillaria, Tulipa) and after a long walk for around five hours, come back to Chelgerd and stay there.

Day 7: Chelgerd to Golpayegan

Botanizing in Golestankuh and staying at Golpayegan.

Day 8: Golpayegan to Hamadan

Drive to Northern Zagros and visit Oshtorankuh Mt. This journey includes a long hiking around four hours. Then, come back to Hamadan and stay in Hamadan's hotels.

Day 9: Hamadan City tour

Sightseeing in Hamadan.

Day 10: Hamadan to Kermanshah

Drive to Kermanshah and visit the Tagh-Bostan and Bistoon heritages. Stay at Kermanshah's hotels.

Day 11: Kermanshah to Takab

Drive to Takab and Botanizing on the northern side of the Zagros mountains. Then come back to Takab and stay there.

Day 12: Takab to Zanjan

Drive to Zanjan and visit Takhte-Soleyman heritage and botanizing at Belqeis mountains. Included a long walk of around four hours.

Day 13: Zanjan to Tehran

Drive from Zanjan to Tehran and botanizing in the Alborz mountains. Accommodate in Tehran’s hotels.

Day 14: Tehran nature tour

Botanizing in Tuchal Mountain in central Alborz. Accommodate in Tehran’s hotels.

Day 15: Departure from Tehran

Take a flight back.
