Tabriz railway station is located in Tabriz, the capital of Eastern Azarbaijan province. It was operated for Jolfa line in 1916, but it was connected to Tehran railway station in 1958. The building of Tabriz railway station is in the register of Iran's national tangible heritage. In past years, Tabriz was within the Silk Road, a trade route connecting Asia to Europe from 200 BC until the 15^th century. Nowadays, Tabriz has also the same value.
