Arak railway station is located in Arak, the capital of Markazi province. Markazi is an industrial province in Iran where many industrial units and towns are built. Arak railway station is one of the old railway stations that was operated in 1938 within the Trans – Iranian railway project. Trans – Iranian railway, scratching from the south of Iran to the north, is registered in UNESCO World Heritage.
